About Us
Nestled on the shores of Lake Malawi
Fish Eagle Bay Lodge is situated on the shores of the magnificent Lake Malawi, in the Central Region of Malawi. The Nkhotakota District is an area of Rice Paddies in the rainy season, Cassava gardens and maize gardens. Fishing is very important and provides a regular income to the fishing villages dotted along the coast.
We are a tranquil Lodge in a peaceful environment far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We have committed to, as far as possible, consider the environment and work with nature to preserve and protect the fauna and flora of the area.
Our Chalets are whitewashed with thatch roofs and wooden windows and doors. Windows and doors are unglazed and covered with mosquito gauze and sturdy steel mesh for security and to allow air to freely circulate to keep the interiors cool.

All Chalets have an unhindered view of the Lake, providing a romantic getaway with loads of opportunities for stunning photographs.
We were privileged to host the famous Lake of Stars Festival in September 2024, thereby celebrating the 20 year anniversary of the Lake of Stars Festival, and officially re-launching Fish Eagle Bay Lodge.
